Neil and Sayaka
Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre
Neil and Sayaka wanted an indoor setting for their small and intimate wedding ceremony. They considered the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre the best choice for Sayaka’s family from Japan and Neil’s elderly parents to enjoy the ceremony and be able to wander through Harry Sawkins Park close by.
Purple paper crane’s adorned the signing table to honor Sayaka’s Japanese heritage.
“Bronwyn is a very friendly and understanding celebrant who was eager to please. She frequently surprised us with going beyond what we expected. Giving us a lift back to town on a hot day, checking the location we booked to prepare for the service, arriving early to help set up, even visiting us at our motel early in the morning for a run through of the service to make sure everything went well. Even though she had a severe cold on the day of our wedding she made sure she came and married us. She was also happy to start earlier when plans changed slightly at the last moment. We were also very happy to have her daughter there taking photo’s for us and the beautiful booklet of our wedding arriving not long after with a USB of the photos her daughter took. We were very grateful to Bronwyn and Sarah for understanding our particular needs in regards to a Japanese /Australian wedding. Not only did they bring flowers and a lace tablecloth to decorate with, they also made many paper cranes to add to the joyful and unique wedding. We humbly thank you Bronwyn and Sarah for all their help to our special day and they’ll always be in our hearts, minds and photo records - Neil and Sayaka
